NoodlePanda is a low key new-ish (I believe they just crossed the one year mark) spot off the corner of Taraval and 21st Ave, a location that always seems to struggle to keep a steady business. Given that, I hope more people give it a try because the food and service were both good overall. Ordering is done through a QR code at each table, and payment is handled in person at the end, though worth noting they have a 2 card maximum for splitting bills in case that mattered. The menu is mostly centered around noodles, in both soup and dry form, along with several popular side dishes and appetizers like lamb skewers, dry braised string beans, and garlic cucumber salad. I ordered the spicy beef tripe dry noodles, and while the bowl was packed with tripe and the mala flavor was definitely there, I wish I had been able to swap in a different noodle. Something about the thin, round noodles just did not quite work for me. I think a flatter or wider noodle would have soaked up the sauce better, or even the knife cut noodle they are known for, which I did try in another dish and thought was much better. I ordered from Noodle Panda on DoorDash. We got two bowls of noodles and ate them immediately. Halfway through, my wife found an insect in her noodles. Less than a minute later, while I was eating mine, I found a long piece of pubic hair. We threw both bowls away. It was a total waste of money, and it made us feel like throwing up. Imagine eating and finding a piece of pubic hair it’s disgusting!!!!! I have serious doubts about their hygiene. How could both our bowls have issues at the same time? I strongly do not recommend this place. Honestly, I wish the health department would inspect them, because this is beyond disgusting.

This restaurant was amazing. Food was good quality and the noodles were so chewy. We got the liangpi, oil noodles and beef noodle soup. Everything came out perfectly and flavorful. I recommend the knife cut noodles and the large noodles. I also got the pan grilled buns and those were so fluffy and crispy.

i can't believe i've never eaten here before! everything was so amazing. right when you walk you see the employees hard at work pulling the handmade noodles and dumplings made fresh right in front of you. my favorite part about this place is how you can customize the noodles based on your likings. i got the thin noodles recommended by the worker in the big beef rib noodle soup and it did not disappoint! the soup had such hefty portions of the beef and the broth flavor was epic. the xiao long bao and pork buns were filled abundantly and held together very well. i particularly enjoyed the consistency of the xiao long bao and how the wrapping wasn't too thick or chewy. the string beans were flash fried to the perfect crunch and the texture of the beef pancake rolls was divine. this restaurant was spacious, clean, and well lit. they also have a room in the back i assume for banquets and parties if you're looking for a nice place to host a large gathering like a graduation or birthday celebration.

We arrived around 6pm. There was no wait while the restaurant was about half full. We got a spicy beef triple noodles (thick noodles) and a dry pot. The texture of the noodles was very good. However, both dishes were too salty. The dry pot was too oily and missing some numbing flavor.
